At home, but not alone…

Like so many organisations, COVID-19 has stopped us rehearsing, performing, and spreading the wonder love since March this year.

We’ve been busy behind-the-scenes this year, trying out new ways of rehearsing in isolation using digital content, working on new material, and creating our ‘At Home… Not Alone’ music video.

But without the gig income which sustains our regular rehearsals, our activities have been ad hoc and infrequent.

This autumn, however, we are so excited to announce our successful application to the Arts Council of Wales’s Cultural Recovery Fund, thank you so much ACW!

This funding will allow us to plan our return to playing together again. We’ll run regular rehearsals and workshops between now and next spring, with online sessions starting imminently and face to face when it’s safe to do so.

This means we can hit the streets, pubs and events with our unique and polished sound once again as soon as live performances are safe and permitted.

We will also be creating some digital material to help our existing members get back up to speed, which will be publicly available for potential new members to sink their teeth into until we can welcome them to the Wonderfamily in person!
